Introducing the PlayStation 4
People say that this is going to be the next generation console and that is a big possibility. The PlayStation has so many features that is new to the gaming scene, and will revolutionize the gaming industry forever. This makes the PlayStation 4 a great leap in the next generation console.
The PS4 has eight x86-64 cores that allow the PS4 to be super fast, about as fast as the Xbox One if not even faster. It also has an 1.84 TFLOPS graphics processor with 8 GB of ultra fast GDDR5 unified system memory. That helps the speed by about 200% and as you know, faster is better. No one wants a slow system. This also helps with all of the graphics rendering because most people play games for the graphics, and if it doesn’t sound realistic or look realistic then they don’t play it. I know that the graphics and the audio are dependent upon the game developers utilization of the system resources, but without a good graphics card then all of the work put into the graphics and sound is nothing.
The PS4 controller has a new touch screen pad on the controller, and this is new to the gaming scene. It also has new shocks that help with the gaming experience. Whether it is the shooting of a gun in Call of Duty or the roar of a V8 engine in an Audi R8, you will feel all of the vibration in your controller and in your hands. The share feature with the new “Share” button on the top left by your touch screen pad on your controller allows you to take any film from any game and press the share button to upload it to “Youtube” or any other place that you might want to upload it to.
PlayStation Game Room
The PlayStation game room is revolutionary to the gaming industry and it is just like the Xbox Connect but it is 10x cooler than it. “How is it 10x cooler?” you ask, well you can really interact with different things with it. Sure you can move your hand over an object and wave your hand back and forth, but you can really move things with your hand. The PlayStation game room makes everything 3D and you can do anything with it, you can make little minions come out of the controller onto the screen. You can mess around with them like you can punch them and kick them, and if you do it enough then they will start getting mad. Then they will do something to you like freeze your head or light your head on fire, and it is really cool.
Some people are used to not paying anything for PlayStation online, but it is not going to be like that this time because of all the servers and how much the console cost. The company is going to need to get some sort of money from it.
The gameplay is very smooth with all of the detail that they have put in the audio and the graphics. It is probably more smooth than the Xbox One. With all of the new games that are coming out and all of the new features makes the PS4 very enticing. Many, many games are coming out for the PS4, some of them are for Xbox and PlayStation, but most of the games that you are going to want is on the PlayStation and not on Xbox. In my opinion the ones that are going to be the best are the ones that are only on the PlayStation. The PlayStation has always concentrated on the gaming side of the console unlike Xbox which focused heavily on the entertainment part of the console. I don’t think this is good for business mostly because people are focused on gaming not watching TV on their Xbox because they already have a cable box for that.
